FLINT -- Police arrest a 32-year-old Flint man after they say he fired a handgun at them on Ridgeway Road in Flint.

Michigan State Police say Thursday troopers tried to stop a man walking in the middle of the road.

They say the suspect began to run away then turned and fired a round from a handgun.

The officers were not hit.

MSP along with the Flint Police Department caught the suspect.

State Police plan to charge the suspect with assault with intent to commit murder.
